The post also highlighted that “Paquil (The Miracle)” is set for a nationwide release in over 100 cinemas starting Feb. 12.

The Five Continents International Film Festival, held in Venezuela, is a monthly global competition that brings together filmmakers, feature films, short films, music videos  and web series from around the world.

The festival is known for its unique blend of online and live screenings, providing a platform for creators to showcase their work to an international audience.

Apart from Gonzalez’s win, “Paquil (The Miracle)” bagged several other accolades, including: Best Fantasy Feature Film; Special Mention for Cinematography, with Marvin Reyes earning praise for the film’s visuals; Best Production, honoring the leadership of executive producer Vincent Soriano, and Best VFX Feature Film, recognizing the creative brilliance of Gary Morallos, Dave Morallos, Ronaldo Reyes and John Kenneth Paclibar.

Set in a small, deeply religious town, “Paquil (The Miracle)” explores themes of faith, doubt and redemption.

The story revolves around a mysterious young boy who is believed to possess miraculous healing powers, sparking both hope and controversy within the community.

According to the group, the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) is seeking feedback from stakeholders on recommendations to follow several measures as they received a bulletin from the government body informing them of five international standards on textiles published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) intended for adoption under the Philippine National Standards (PNS).

Japan pulled the plug on nuclear power after the 2011 Fukushima disaster, but with the G7’s dirtiest energy mix, it is seeking to cut emissions, and atomic energy is making a steady comeback, in part because of AI.

Gonzalez plays a mother whose life is transformed by the boy’s supposed miracles, delivering a raw and deeply emotional performance that captivated audiences worldwide.

Joining her on-screen is JM De Guzman, who portrays Paolo, a talented but troubled musician struggling with a past riddled with addiction.

In his quest for redemption, Paolo seeks peace and the opportunity to reclaim his life’s purpose.
