gppbet ‘Snow White’ official movie trailer reminds me of Disney’s magical past glory
The much-awaited live-action remake of “Snow White” has made me feel that old magical sensation of Walt Disney animations, cartoons, and movies from many decades ago. We are talking about a world of wonder, limitless imagination, and childlike innocence that was once found in Disney, but those years have long passed.
However, while watching the official movie trailer for “Snow White,” I felt some of that long-lost magic once more in specific moments, sequences, and footage that was shown. Rachel Zegler as Snow White, the most legendary of Disney princesses, was not painful to watch, despite the obnoxious, senseless, and downright crazy comments she has made in interviews and social media posts about her disdain for portraying Snow White. This has put Disney in damage control each time she makes those uncalled-for remarks. In the end, I bet they sometimes wonder if she was worth casting, given the privilege of bringing to life the most important of all the princesses in Disney lore.

This issue was a significant problem the movie faced months ago when the “Woke movement,” or what I would call the Woke nightmare, was still in full control of Disney. However, they are gradually waking up from that insanity, lack of common sense, and logical thinking, and returning to a more traditional approach to filmmaking.

It reminded me of my carefree childhood, watching the VHS copy of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at home with my family. The magic of Disney is there once more, and I can’t wait to see if this movie will bring it to its fullest potential, glory, and the golden age that Disney once had.
For me, it feels like a brand-new day for the rest of the free world, with America having a President who is not focused on “woke” issues or DEI, which have turned society upside down, especially in the world of Disney. Many of their previous movies were poorly received, strange, and offensive to young audiences. Disney followed the directives of the “woke movement” to the extent that they were losing millions, even billions, as their movies kept flopping and failing to earn enough. Breaking even is not sufficient, especially when you have hundreds of millions in budget for each movie released worldwide. It sadly became a case of appeasing certain groups rather than pleasing the general audience, particularly the youth who still believe in Disney based on the movies they watched from their parents’ prized video collection, as well as the old storybooks and novels that showcased the magic of Disney from many decades ago. The current generation wants to experience that magic once more!

They had to make these adjustments now that the world is becoming normal again, and I think these changes might be enough to give “Snow White” a possibility to be enjoyed by everyone who wants to feel that old, long-lost magical feeling when watching a Disney movie. I truly hope that is the case because, honestly, so much damage has already been done to this movie before its release. The principal actress, the main star, in the past, has openly expressed her dislike for the original animated movie of Snow White, which left me speechless. However, lately, I think she is coming to her senses and realizing that the woke movement is nearing its end, and it is time for her to distance herself from it.

I hope the main star realizes what an honor it is to portray Snow White in a live-action remake and that she was not replaced despite everything she has said about the beloved Disney princess and being in the movie, she happens to be the star of. Wow, what would Walt Disney himself have done to restore order to his beloved company if he was still alive today?

More than a year ago, when I first heard they were planning to cast Rachel Zegler, who is widely known for her intense woke views, I was not excited at all. She has openly discussed in interviews how strange it is that Snow White ends up with a prince and how odd it is that she has fair skin, among other bizarre, ridiculous, and out-of-this-world comments. It broke many hearts to see someone who intensely dislikes Snow White and everything she represents being cast in the role. I shook my head in disbelief at many of her remarks, which only hurt the chances of people wanting to watch this film.
Now, with an official release date, it is clear that “Snow White” is going to be shown, for better or worse.
